  • Necessary equipment and material for the progression and glacial rescue
  • Roping systems: N roping and multiple stringing
  • Field-interpretation and choosing the itinerary
  • Anchoring in snow and ice: buried ice-axe, buried skis, screw placement
  • Ascension through rope
  • Simple and combined hoists for glacial rescue
  • Making a full glacial rescue exercise

 Necessary material

  • Mountaineering boots, cross-country boots and cross-country skis
  • 35l bag
  • Impermeable jacket
  • Impermeable trousers
  • Warm clothes
  • 2 pairs of gloves
  • Bonnet
  • Sun and blizzard glasses
  • Food and water

*Optional: if you don’t have some of these materials we can borrow you some to make the course.

  • Arva, shovel and probe
  • Harness
  • Helmet
  • Crampons
  • 1 Classical ice-axe
  • 2 safety karabiners
  • 1 self-blocking pulley microtraxion style
  • 2 ice screws
  • 1,80 metres Dynema sewed flat belt
  • 50 mtrs rope
  • Two 1,50 mtrs and 7 mm lines
  • 60 mtrs double rope
