Self-rescue in rocks

While climbing, many of us have never thought about the possibility of suffering some type of accident, so until it has happened or we haven’t made an specific training for it, we have never thought about making an specific training in self-rescue in walls.

This courses is addressed to all those climbers who make various length climbs, both equipped or unequipped, who want to know about self-rescue to solve any situation that can occur in a wall. Thus, we will sum up the three possible and worst situations that can happen while climbing.

  • Duración: 4 theoretical-practical journeys

Contenidos

  • Climbing theory: security chain, falling factor in climbing, pulley effect, hoists, specific materials and specific knots.
  • The injured is with us in the reunion: rappel with pulley with diverters passage.
  • The injured is below the reunion: Conversion from the assurance system to a rappel with pulley.
  • The injured is above the reunion, more than a half of the length above and outside the vertical.

 Necessary material

  • Comfortable sporty clothes and footwear
  • Food and water

*the course includes: climbing shoes, harness, climbing helmet and the group materials to do it; it is understood that people interested i this training have already climbing material that can use during it.

  • An assuring device like reverso
  • Two 7mm and 1,5 mtrs lines for machard
  • A 1,20 mtrs sewed band ring

  • A self-locking pulley like microtraxion
