This course is addressed to those who climb and want to get started in the several lengths routes and know the use and functioning of the floating assurances in climbing: cams and friends.

Contenidos

  • Materials, security chain, falling effect in climbing, pulley effect, reports and climbing routes grading.
  • Planning and logistic of wall climbing.
  • Climbing reunions: triangulations, assembly protocol
  • Placing safety devices in classical climbing: cams and friends
  • Wall rappelling: self-insured rappelling and wind rappelling.
  • How to secure the lead climber, how to secure the second one and changing the lead climber in the reunion.
  • Basic techniques of artificial climbing.
  • Practical implementation of all the acquired knowledge climbing a several lengths half-equipped route.

 Necessary material

  • Comfortable sporty clothes and footwear
  • Food and water

*the course includes: climbing shoes, harness, climbing helmet and the group materials to do it

  • 10 express bands
  • Four HMS safety carabiners
  • An assuring device like reverso
  • One 7mm and 1,5 mtrs line for machard
  • A 1,20 mtrs sewed band ring
  • Anchoring rope
  • Razor
